Zoopla Fort Challenge

In summer 2020 the UK housing market was suspended, with the coronavirus pandemic keeping buyers and sellers locked down in their homes.

 

I was tasked with devising a brand-building social media campaign to keep Zoopla front of consumers' minds until the market re-opened.

​

Working with our creative agency Lucky Generals, the Zoopla Fort Challenge was born: a UK-wide competition encouraging people to build homes within their homes.

On a shoestring budget we used influencer marketing, CRM and timely organic and paid posts to drive awareness and participation.

​

The campaign smashed all expectations and went on to win double gold at the 2020 International Content Marketing Awards (Best Use of Influencer Marketing and Best Use of Social Media).

My biggest achievement of the campaign? Roping in my kids to build our own fort in the back garden...
